10 YEARS OLD - Before BuckleUp, there was us.
Amy and Remy have been best friends since they were 10 years old. Years of friendship, countless conversations and a shared love of doing things our own way eventually led us here.
THE MOVE TO LONDON
Where running came into the picture.
Remy moved to London and found herself getting deeper into the running world. Before long, Amy was pulled into it too.
What started as Remy getting Amy into running soon became something neither of us expected.
MARCH 2025 - The run that started it all.
Amy ran her first half marathon. There was just one problem: the running belt she was wearing could barely fit her phone. And when we started looking for something better, we realised there really wasn't much out there.
Especially nothing that felt functional, comfortable AND actually cute
THE IDEA - There had to be a better belt.
Why did running gear have to look so... serious?
We wanted something that could actually keep your essentials secure, stay put while you run and still look good enough to be part of your outfit.
So we started thinking:
What if one belt could give you two looks?
And just like that, BuckleUp was born.
NOVEMBER 2025 - Okay, let's actually lock into this idea.
In November, we sat down together and started turning the idea into something real.
With a little help from a very good friend who connected us with a manufacturer, the first steps towards creating the world's first reversible running belt began.
Then came the samples. And more samples. And a lot of back and forth.
THE SAMPLES - Not quite. Try again.
We tested, changed, tweaked, redesigned and tested again.
The fit had to be right.
The fabric had to be right.
The pockets had to be right.
The prints had to be right.
Because we weren't interested in making just another running belt.
We wanted to make BuckleUp.
AUGUST 2026 - We finally did it.
After months of ideas, samples, tweaks and way too many conversations, the final BuckleUp arrived.
The world's first reversible running belt.
Two looks. One belt.
Zero bounce.
Made to move with you.
And honestly?
This is only the beginning.

Welcome to BuckleUp.
What started with two best friends, a half marathon and a belt that couldn't fit a phone has become something much bigger.
BuckleUp is about making running feel good, look good and most importantly making you want to keep going.
And we're just getting started.
